The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the HR department. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate employee records, supporting credentialing requirements for Physical Therapy staff, and assisting with employee communication and reporting functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Process and manage employee leave paperwork (FMLA, medical leave, personal leave, etc.)
Track and maintain accurate records of employee leave balances and documentation
Prepare, generate, and distribute HR reports as requested
Manage and monitor credentialing requirements for Physical Therapy staff, including license renewals, certifications, compliance documentation, etc.
Maintain credentialing tracking to ensure all staff remain compliant with regulatory and organizational standards
Conduct employee outreach related to documentation, compliance, benefits, and HR updates
Update and maintain employee records in HRIS and other internal systems
Assist with onboarding documentation and employment file maintenance as needed
Support compliance initiatives and audits
Maintain confidentiality of employee information
Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Perform all other duties as assigned
Benefits:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
1–3 years of HR or administrative experience preferred
Experience in healthcare or credentialing management is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with HRIS systems preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
